Seashells of the South Fork: This program is for adults and teens 18 years of age and older.
Program Leader: Emily Zabusky, SOFO Environmental Educator
Seashells are the hard exoskeleton of marine mollusks. These exoskeletons serve to protect and support their soft body parts from predators. Once the shell is no longer inhabited it will serve its purpose as a new home for other marine animals. Join Emily to learn about our native South Fork animals that either create their shells or find new ones to live in.
For nonmembers, there is a $15 fee for Adults and $10 fee for children for this program. SOFO Members are free.
Advanced reservations are required for all events. To register for this program, please contact us at info@sofo.org or call 631-537-9735.
