How to Map Your Hikes Online from Home
with Mark Potter, President, Southampton Trails Preservation Society
Mark Potter will show you how to get the most from the powerful on-line Southampton trails map. We’ll follow the Paumanok Path through Southampton, see how to convert the street and trail map to a satellite image, how to measure the length of your walks, then clip out a day hike to paste, print and carry into the field. The program will also be joined by Joe Denny, The first person to hike the entire Paumanok Trail. Suitable for map savvy children, teens and their parents. Potter is the current president of the Southampton Trails Preservation Society.
This program is for adults, teens, and children 8 years of age and older.
