Join Friends of the Long Pond Greenbelt, the South Fork Natural History Museum (SoFo) and the Quogue Wildlife Refuge as we kick off the 5th annual Invasive Species Awareness week, July 8th – July 14th. We will remove invasive mile-a-minute, Japanese Knotweed and Autumn Olive and then plant native grasses and flowers to help restore the area where we have previously removed Japanese Knotweed.
Meet at the South Fork Natural History Museum parking lot

Please bring gloves and a shovel (if you have one).
Dress against ticks.
