Join Wayne Whitmore, Board Trustee, on this leisurely paced bird walk in search of spring migrants and breeding warblers. Montauk is a migration trap for migratory birds and Wayne will lead you on the nature trail in search of a variety of birds that utilize this habitat. Some possible species that will be observed are: American Redstart, Prairie Warbler, Yellow Warbler, Ovenbird and many others. Please bring binoculars and a Field Guide to Birds of Eastern North America if you have one.

The program is limited to ten people, which includes SOFO environmental educators. All participants are required to wear a mask and practice all COVID-19 social distancing guidelines during this walk. Please wear insect repellent to protect from ticks.
