Walk Leader: Miles Todaro, South Fork Natural History Museum (SOFO) Environmental Educator
Join Miles on this all-day leisurely paced walk through The Long Pond Greenbelt from the South Fork Natural History Museum, passing the beautiful coastal plain ponds of the Greenbelt. Bring your own lunch and we will picnic at Mashashimuet Park in Sag Harbor before returning to the museum via a different trail. The Long Pond Greenbelt contains one of the highest concentrations of rare plants and animals in New York State. Be sure to bring lunch, plenty of water, and binoculars.
