Walk Leader: Dai Dayton, Friends of the Long Pond Greenbelt President

Join Friends of the Long Pond Greenbelt and the South Fork Natural History Society on a leisurely-paced, one hour hike through open-field trails. In most areas, flowers are abundant everywhere during this time, thus the name of this Moon. Other names include the Full Corn Planting Moon, or the Milk Moon. Convivial conversation and light refreshments afterward. Meet at the SOFO parking lot. This is a FREE program.

Advance reservations are required for all events. For more information, reservations, and directions to meeting places, please call: (631) 537-9735.
