We use our sense of smell every day when we eat food or walk outside to enjoy the scent of flowers. But we don’t depend on our noses for survival the way animals do. Ants and many other insects have a very good sense of smell and depend on their ability to use scents to find their way around and to find food. We will experiment with scents the way ants do and make an ant habitat for visitors to observe ant life at the museum.
Advance reservations are required for all events. For more information, reservations, and directions to meeting places, please call: (631) 537-9735.
