Nature Walk in the Long Pond Greenbelt ─ (3.5miles) from the Long Pond Greenbelt Nature Center to the Ponds of the Greenbelt

Walk Leader: Dai Dayton, President Friends of the Long Pond Greenbelt

The Long Pond Greenbelt is made up of more than 1,100 acres of interconnected ponds, woods, and wetlands that stretch from Ligonee Brook and Otter Pond in Sag Harbor to Sagg Pond and the Atlantic Ocean shore in Sagaponack. On this 3.5 mile walk with Dai, along the William B. Sickles Tree Identification Trail and the old Sag Harbor Railroad Spur Trail, you’ll have the opportunity to view some of these ponds ── Crooked Pond, Long Pond, Little Long Pond and Deer Drink ─and the ecological communities that surround them.

There is a $15 fee for Adults and $10 fee for children for this program. Members are free.

Advanced reservations are required for all events. For more information, reservations, and directions to meeting places, please call: (631) 537-9735 or email info@sofo.org.
