Program Presenter: Prof. Sean Tvelia, Chairman of the Department of Physical Sciences, Suffolk County Community College’s Ammerman Campus, member of the Board of Directors of Montauk Observatory

In this program children (and parents) will learn the importance of measurement in science. Working with their parents and each other, participants will learn how to make accurate measurements of the world around them and accurately estimate the size of objects from the very largest of things to the very smallest of things (atoms). This is a FREE program.

Advance reservations are required for all events. For more information, reservations, and directions to meeting places, please call: (631) 537-9735.
