Harvesting Fish & Shellfish of Eastern Long Island: This program is for adults, teen, and children ages 6 and older.
Program presenter: Ken Morse owner of Tight Lines Tackle, Sag Harbor, NY
Meet Ken and hear everything you need to know to enjoy recreational and sportfishing on the East End of Long Island. His program will include an overview of local fishing regulations and the permits required to enter the hobby as well as an exploration of the seasonal availability of your catch. Ken will also bring a number of show & tell items along such as rods, reels, lures, live bait samples and will in the end demonstrate how the use of various types of fish traps will not only provide you with the food for fish to bite, but will also immerse you into the world of marine and freshwater biology! This program is for adults, teens, and children age 6 and older.
There is a $15 fee for Adults and $10 fee for children for this program. Members are free.
