Join FLPG and SOFO on a leisurely paced one-hour hike through open-field trails on this hike in Vineyard Field. The Native American fishing tribes are given credit for naming this moon, since sturgeon was most readily caught during this month. A few tribes knew it as the full Red Moon because, as the moon rises, it appears reddish through any sultry haze. Afterward, stay for light refreshments and convivial conversation. This is a free program.

Advanced reservations are required for all events. For more information, reservations, and directions to meeting places, please call: (631) 537-9735.
