Hike Leader: Jean Dodds, Secretary, Friends of the Long Pond Greenbelt
Cosponsored by Friends of the Long Pond Greenbelt (FLPG) and South Fork Natural History Museum (SoFo)
This moon, valued by every Algonquin tribe, was named for the strawberry because this time in June marks the relatively short season for harvesting strawberries. Join us on this one-hour, leisurely paced hike through open-field trails, with convivial conversation and refreshments afterward.
Advance reservations are required for all events. For more information, reservations, and directions to meeting places, please call: (631) 537-9735.
