Program Presenter: Eleni Nikolopoulos, South Fork Natural History Museum Nature Educator.
Wondering what you can do with all those shells you collected on the beach this summer? Join Eleni in creating your own beach memory jar. This unique way of remembering your summer will be fun for the entire family. We’ll walk along the beach and gather shells, driftwood, and anything else we wish to be a part of our memory jar. You’re welcome to bring your previously collected shells to add to your jar. While collecting these items, we’ll talk about what kinds of animals make or live in the shells we have collected.
Advance reservations are required for all events. For more information, reservations, and directions to meeting places, please call: (631) 537-9735.
