Box Turtle at Long Pond-Storytime and Craft: This program is for children ages 3-6

Nikole will read the children’s book Box Turtle at Long Pond, by William T. George (Author), Lindsay Barrett George (Illustrator) to the group. The School Library Journal says about the book, “A day in the life of a box turtle is rendered carefully in words and lifelike illustrations with a text that respects its subject….Superior.”- while the Kirkus Reviews says, “An excellent introduction to pond ecology, and a strikingly beautiful book.” After the story the children will make a craft project related to the story. Limited enrollment.
For nonmembers, there is a $15 fee for Adults and $10 fee for children for this program. This program fee will also provide non-members with free admission to the museum on a day of their choice. Members are free.
