This free program will be a meet-and-greet with some of our native amphibians, such as the endangered Eastern Tiger Salamander, Gray Tree Frog, Red-spotted Newt, and Fowler’s Toad. Participants will learn what an amphibian is, their life cycles and morphology, and why it is important to protect their habitat. This program is open to all ages, and children must be accompanied by an adult. Reservations are required, as space is limited. Register by calling the Refuge at 631.653.4771
