Workshop Leader: Dr. Quincy Egginton, artist and art educator
In our local environment, this time of year reduces the elements of a landscape to essential shapes. Students will observe the area views and then select a scene from photographs. The horizon line will be determined, and light direction and shadows will be defined. The illusion of perspective will be illustrated as the elements are rendered – rocks, trees, animals and more. Quincy will demonstrate drawing with pen and ink and adding ink washes to create the scene. There is a materials fee of $5 per child for this program. All materials will be provided.
There is a $15 fee for Adults and $10 fee for children for this program. Members only pay materials fee.
Advanced reservations are required for all events. For more information, reservations, and directions to meeting places, please call: (631) 537-9735 or email [email protected].
