Program Leader: Sandra Reyes, SOFO Environmental Educator
Birds that migrate don’t travel all at once. Many migrating water birds—including ducks, geese, and herons—require more than one wetland habitat for nesting, resting, and wintering. The loss of even one of these habitats makes the journey that much harder for them. If you were a migrating water bird do you think you would survive? Find out in this interactive migration survival game.
There is a $15 fee for Adults and $10 fee for children for this program. Members only pay materials fee.
Advanced reservations are required for all events. For more information, reservations, and directions to meeting places, please call: (631) 537-9735 or email [email protected].
