CANCELED
Program Leader: Melanie Meade, South Fork Natural History Museum (SOFO) Education & Outreach Coordinator
Here on Long Island you might see a Box Turtle in the forest or a Painted Turtle basking in the warmth of the sun on a log by the river. There are turtles that live in salt marshes too, called Diamondback Terrapins. Meet all of these and more! Learn where they live and how to spot them. Use your turtle sense and see if you can identify a sea turtle model too!
Advanced reservations are required for all events. For more information, reservations, and directions to meeting places, please call: (631) 537-9735.
