Shinnecock Inlet is renowned for the massive numbers of sea ducks that winter in the area. On this walk, we’ll focus on these wintering sea ducks, with special attention to identification challenges and field marks. While observing the ducks, we’re also likely to encounter other winter specialties such as Red-throated Loons, Razorbills, and, if we’re lucky, a Snowy Owl.
