Come join SOFO and the New York Marine Rescue Center for a cold stun sea turtle lecture and training workshop to gear you up to becoming a Cold Stun Sea Turtle Patroller!

This program will consist of two parts:

• Level I Lecture (All Ages) ( 11 AM – 12 PM at SOFO)

  • Learn about NYS sea turtle species and how they are affected by cold stunning during winter months.

• Level II In-Field Training (18+, unless accompanied by an adult) (12:30 – 2:30 PM at Sagg Main Beach)
