Zoom Presentation: SOFO Shark Research & Education Program—Assessing the Health and Stress of Great White Sharks

Presenter: Dr. Harley Newton, Veterinary Pathologist, Disney’s Animals, Science and Environment

Dr. Harley Newton has been a close collaborator of the SOFO Shark Research and Education team for several years and has participated in numerous shark studies with the New York Aquarium, Stony Brook University, OCEARCH, and currently with Disney’s Animals, Science and Environment in Florida. As a veterinary pathologist, Dr. Newton brings a unique perspective and skill set to our local shark research. Her program will provide fascinating insights into the health and stress of Atlantic white sharks. This program is for adults, teens, and children age 10 and older.
