Have you ever walked along a marina and wondered what made some of the water a pretty purple, green and blue? Even though those colors are pretty, they mean a very bad thing: there has been an oil spill. There are many ways for an oil spill to happen, but they all have a very bad outcome for our marine animals – altering the structure of bird feathers and mammal fur. Join Xylia to learn about the effects of oil spills, different methods to clean them up, and see if you have what it takes to clean up your very own oil spill!

Advance reservations are required for all events. For more information, reservations, and directions to meeting places, please call: (631) 537-9735.
