Introduction to GIS: Mapmaking─Design Your Dream Village: This program is for children ages 7 and older.
Workshop Leader: Olivia McGranaghan, SOFO Environmental Educator
It’s never too early to teach the concepts of Geographic Information Systems (GIS) to children. Join Olivia as she teaches key mapmaking elements, one important ingredient in GIS. Maps are also vital when it comes to exploring the outdoors or when you need these skills to make your own map, depicting a village you design.
For nonmembers, there is a $15 fee for Adults and $10 fee for children for this program. SOFO Members are free.
