Full Buck Moon Hike with the Friends of the Long Pond Greenbelt (FLPG): All Ages

Hike Leader: Dai Dayton, President, Friends of the Long Pond Greenbelt

Join FLPG and SOFO on a leisurely-paced, one hour hike through open-field trails. The July full moon is named the “Buck Moon”, as it is normally the month when the new antlers of buck deer push out of their foreheads in coatings of velvety fur. Hikes are limited to 25 participants and priority will be given to 2021 FLPG members. To register email:  greenbeltnews@aol.com. Participants must wear masks. This free program is for all ages.

Advanced reservations are required for all events. To register for this program, which has limited enrollment please contact greenbeltnews@aol.com. Spots will be reserved on a first-come, first-served basis.
