This summer the Moon will cover up one of the brightest stars in the sky (Spica)\, the annual Perseid meteor shower will be splendid\, and the planets Mars and Jupiter will meet up for exceptionally close rendezvous in the sky. Come to this lecture if you want to learn how to view all these events\, as well as summer mainstays like the glorious constellations of Cygnus and Sagittarius. The lecture will be offered both in-person and over Zoom.
