SUMMARY:YES! Presents: Drawing and Seeing Animals with Jackie Hoving
DESCRIPTION:In this 2-hour drawing workshop\, we will explore form\, texture\, and structure using the SOFO Taxidermy collection and a few live animal models. We will practice analyzing form while also taking time to slow down and see the animals in detail. Supplies will be provided. \nWorkshop Leader: Jackie Hoving is a Drawing Professor at Pratt Institute in Brooklyn\, where she works with first-year students to build skills and find their voice as artists. She also works closely with the Pratt Foundation Lab\, which is part art studio\, part science lab\, an innovative space that invites students to explore art and nature. \nThis FREE program is for adults & children ages 13 and up. Advanced reservations are required for all events. \n  \n Sign Up Here!\n
