SUMMARY:Nature & Birdwatching Cruise with Naturalist Aidan Perkins
DESCRIPTION:Join Aidan on an early spring cruise on Shinnecock Bay in search of migrating birds and maybe even a lingering harbor seal! In April\, Long Island’s bays see a vibrant influx of migratory birds\, including Osprey\, Piping Plovers\, American Oystercatchers\, and various warblers (Palm\, Yellow-rumped). Also in the mix are shorebirds like Sanderlings\, swallows\, and terns\, while loons and gannets can be spotted on the water. \nProgram Leader: Aidan Perkins\, Wildlife Biologist \nThis program is for adults\, teens\, and children ages 10+. \nFor non-members\, there is a $45/person fee. For SOFO members\, there is a $30/person fee. This program fee will also provide non-members with free admission to the museum on a day of their choice.
