DESCRIPTION:Join us at SOFO to see and interact with this year’s brood of purple martins devotedly cared for by our Purple Martin Steward\, John Shemilt. He will lower the gourds and give program participants an opportunity to hold a just-hatched nestling. \nTo learn about John’s appreciation of purple martins\, the following is an interview he did with Christopher Gangemi of The East Hampton Star in June of last year. Read the article here! \nFor nonmembers\, there is a $15 fee for Adults and $10 fee for children for this program.
