Thresher Shark about to be tagged

Presentation by Jeff Neubauer

In this informative program, Jeff will discuss the methods used for the SoFo Shark Research and Education Program. He will show attendees the actual tags and electronic equipment utilized for the program’s research and explain why tags are used, how they are deployed in the field, and how the data is recovered. You’ll learn why tagging is important, what kind of data is received from the tags, and how tags can be used to track shark behavior.
