Clean-up Leader: Ashley Federici, South Fork Natural History Museum (SoFo) Nature Educator
The International Coastal Cleanup is the world’s largest volunteer effort for our ocean and waterways. Did you know that, on average, a person produces 4 pounds of trash per day? Today, plastic has been found in 62% of all sea birds and in 100% of sea turtle species. A problem as big as plastic in the ocean requires a big response! Help Ashley in her ongoing quest to clean up our planet by participating in the International Coastal Cleanup—and you can make a difference.
Advance reservations are required for all events. For more information, reservations, and directions to meeting places, please call: (631) 537-9735.
